Adding a new listing — how it works
Step-by-step flow for creating a listing in Connect. Wording and exact menu labels may match your MLS configuration.
Follow these steps from the Listings area or Listing Maintenance entry point in Paragon Connect:
- Start a new listing
From the left navigation, choose Listings. At the bottom right of the Listings Dashboard is a floating plus (+) button that stays visible as you scroll. Click it to start a new listing.
- Pick the listing type
Select the property class or listing type your MLS requires (residential, land, commercial, and so on). Required choices and defaults follow the same MLS rules as in Paragon.
- Fill in the listing form
Work through the form sections: property details, pricing, remarks, and any other fields your board collects. Required fields are enforced the same way as desktop Paragon; you can use field search if your form is long.
- Add media and attachments
From the listing workflow, add or edit photos, documents, floor plans, and hosted video links when your MLS enables those options. You can save as unpublished and return later to finish media.
- Save as unpublished or publish
Save as unpublished while you are still working, or complete validation and publish when the listing is ready to go live on the MLS.
- Confirm and take next steps
After a successful publish, note the listing ID and use any on-screen shortcuts for sharing, integrations, or returning to the published inventory list.
